I am nominating myself for the position of Events Secretary as I am determined to strengthen the diverse network of students that are part of the society. I believe that through committing to designing and hosting a range of professional and social events will help to inspire student engagement in the society. My passion for collaborating with others and my experience in other societies, will help me to inform how I design events this year, to ensure all active members feel welcomed and included. I will utilise my broad professional network, proactive mindset and strong communication skills to ensure every event we create and host not only fosters the development of professional networks, but enables students to make long lasting connections and to leave inspired. As part of my role, I will continually seek to learn what events students want, and I will try my best to act on their feedback.
