My name is Georgia and I'm running for President of LUBS for next year! I'm extremely passionate about LUBS and want to see it thrive, I'm so motivated to make the society successful! I already have knowledge of the LUBS society and how it operates as I was on committe last year. Due to my experience from running my own business, I have bounds of experience in communicating and maintaining professional relationships - both of which are essential skills when it comes to relations with all LUBS stakeholders. On placement, my day-to-day tasks involve attending client meetings, managing excel trackers and providing the teams with a holistic project view, all of these skills are transferrable to the role of president and will enable me to flourish. Next year I want to ensure members are taking full advantage of the amazing opportunities being a LUBS member provides. I will also ensure that the committee is working collaboratively and has strong relationships, as I believe a strong committee leads to a strong member community! If I get elected into the role of President I promise to strive to make this next year the best one yet as I truly do love LUBS!
