Hi guys!! For those who may not yet know me, I’m Christine and I’m running for the position of General Secretary. I’m currently serving as the President of the British Chinese Society in Leeds, where I have the privilege of leading one of the largest cultural societies in the Union. Through this experience, I’ve gained valuable insights into managing and overseeing university societies, handling LUU room bookings and conducting risk assessments.

These skills and experiences make me a perfect candidate for this role. In the upcoming year, my goal is to foster a safe and inclusive environment within LUBS, where all members feel a sense of belonging and can fully utilise the resources available to them. I aim to work closely with the president and committee to support them in their respective roles, serving as an approachable point of contact for all members.
