Hi I'm Lauren, a second year food science and nutrition student running to be your Coffee Soc treasurer next year☕

Like many of you, I've really enjoyed my time in the society this year, from casual coffee socials where you can pop in for a quick cup and a chat, and the bigger events like the aeropress workshop with Stage Coffee and the Christmas quiz!

As treasurer, I would be building upon the great work done by this year's committee, budgeting and managing our finances so everything runs smoothly and everyone has a great time:
- Partnering with local cafes and roasters for events such as brewing workshops, trying new coffees, visiting cafes etc.
- Casual coffee socials where members can pop in for a cup of brew
- Collaborate with other societies for coffee and not necessarily coffee dedicated events
- Work closely with society members to ensure their time at CoffeeSoc is fun and welcoming, and that their feedback will be heard and acted upon

Hello! As a current active member of coffee society, I would be thrilled to step up to the role of treasurer. Coffee has been a long time passion of mine, so it is in my best interest to help make this society the best it can be.
This means ensuring we have funds in place to continue running our various fun events, as well as campaigning for exciting new ideas for our members to enjoy. Overall, I am eager to contribute to our already amazing coffee community I’ve had the pleasure to be involved in.
If successful, I am excited to be a part of this society’s growth next year!
