The president is responsible for the general running of the society. Although all members of the committee are responsible for jointly looking after the whole of the society, the president is responsible for:
- ● Organising and overseeing the running of the Club/Society, including delegating tasks to other committee members and ensuring everyone's workload is fair, balanced and manageable
- ● Chairing Committee Meetings, AGMs and EGMs.
- ● Ensuring the production of an annual report.
- ● Ensuring there is an up to date entry in the Club/Society’s LUU webpage.
- ● Ensuring that Code of conduct, risk assessments, etc communicated to all members
- ● Ensuring that LUU Safeguarding Policy is upheld and/or clearly delegate this responsibility.
