Hi all, my name is Adam and I'm going to be running for the role of events officer on next year's committee. I'm currently studying diagnostic radiography and I'm in my second year.

You'll most commonly find me either at a gig or in room 2 at keys patiently waiting for some hardcore to come on (I always live in hope) with some of my favorite bands being, Speed, Drain, Malevolence, and devils grip, as just a few of a very long list.

I joined rocsoc at the start of my second year and instantly found myself surrounded by a warm and welcoming group of people who accepted me and that I managed to get on well with. I must admit it felt weird to find so many people that had a similar taste in music to me. As events officer I would love to have the opportunity to be able to carry on this trend and be a friendly and approachable face for any new and returning members.

As your events officer I would do my best to turn up to as many socials as possible despite being in my final year next year and be a familiar face for you all to be able to approach. The reason I am the the right person for the job is because I've had plenty of training on my course with dealing with lots of different situations and I feel I can be helpful for you if you have any issues or concerns no matter the size or severity. I am also good with organising things so I will do my best to make sure events run as smoothly as possible.

If you choose me this role I would make sure to be an active presence throughout the year and would look to gain plenty of feedback from everyone to make next year's rocsoc the best year to date and be able to continuously improve and adapt the committees output during the year.

After the success of cyanide this year, I instantly started to think of ways that it can be improved and levelled up and made into the best cyanide festival possible, I already have put together a list of around 50 local bands with Taylor (who is running for VP) that would all be appropriate and absolutely tear up this festival for us.

If you vote for me I will make sure I am committed to the role and do everything in my ability to make sure you all have the best time in the society.

Hello, It is Em! I would love to take on the role as events officer for my final year at UoL.

Although I have not attended the socials as much this year due to unforeseen circumstances, I would love to make it up by becoming a community member!

Rocksoc has helped me to become more socially involved, ultimately allowing me to express my truest identity, which was hidden for some time!

This opportunity will help me to connect more with my society by listening to suggestions and discussing them with fellow community members.

It would be great to become more active in this society, helping to plan fun and exciting events for next year’s members!

Additionally, I voluntarily took part in promoting the society during the freshers fair with Anna and Ivy at the end. I wanted to show my appreciation by expressing my passion for the society to new people!
