The Treasurer is one of the most important roles in the society, you will be expected to maintain the society’s accounts and ensure any and all funding is being well spent. You will need to oversee the expenditure and sales income, and produce an annual budget and report.  

Please note that a history in maths or accounting is not necessary. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the finances of the LUU Rock & Alternative Society 
• Maintaining up-to-date accounts with the LUU Cash Office only 
• Submitting subsidy applications to Activities Executive 
• Produce a termly report and yearly budget  
• Submitting a detailed statement of accounts for the year to the Club/Society’s Annual General Meeting. 
• Attend all committee meetings and report back to the President  
• Support the Events Officer in organising and funding events and produce a clear outline for the budget for each event
