Hi, I'm Saskia! I'm currently a 1st year student studying Film, Photography and Media and would love to have the opportunity to be the secretary for the media society. I've loved attending the social events and think that it would be even better if we had more! With my help I can ensure that everyone will have the best time and that the media society will continue to be a fun welcoming environment for all. I would love to bond the television, radio and media society together for more socials to create a stronger bond within our community. With the lack of in person teaching this year I would also like to create events that allow us to develop our technical skills more, learning off each other would be so much more beneficial. Hi! My name's Flo and I'm studying Communications and Media, going into my second year. I'd love to get involved with Leeds Media Students Society as your secretary and hopefully bring my skill-set to the role. Having years of experience in customer service and a year as an accounts assistant I'm used to being organised, helpful and a good communicator - key to the day-to-day running of the society! One of my aims is to bring together all media courses and groups (especially since we've been limited in in-person activities), so we can all meet more people and have fun together. This would also provide a space to create future professional links and expand opportunities to support each other with coursework, assignments, seminar and lecture information. Aside from the role, I'd say I'm sociable and always up for a night out. I'm chatty and would love to be a friendly face around campus. Thanks guys!!
