It is the responsibility of the Treasurer to:

• Be responsible for all LMS finances through ensuring adequate accounts and records exist. 
  
• Produce termly reports and plan the yearly budget in agreement with the LMS Committee which is to be monitored throughout the year. 
  
• Ensure LMS finances are kept in the LMS account with the LUU cash Office only. 
  
• Submit subsidy applications to the LUU Activities Executive. 
  
• To seek out external funding through sponsors and other means. 
  
• To issue receipts and keep records of all monies received. 
  
• To ensure that all funds are used appropriately. 
  
• To ensure prompt banking of funding. 
  
• To follow appropriate procedures where any outstanding monies are owed. 
  
• To maintain up to date records of all transactions and records of income and expenditure. 
  
• To prepare end of year accounts and present this at the AGM.
