I would like to nominate myself as President as I have been acting as Vice-President for this last academic year. I am familiar with the society and the responsibilities that come with it. This society holds a close place to my heart as I find it to be a home away from home as I’m sure a lot of Latin American students at the university do too. I believe this society has a lot of potential to grow into one of the biggest cultural societies on campus. I would like to be part of a committee that is equally passionate and willing to support this society and bring it to its full potential as I am. I commit myself to help organise events, manage paperwork and help this society flourish so that every Latin American student and any of those interested in the culture are able to enjoy and be part of a family within campus. My goal is to help this society to continue to grow so every year moving forward it is guaranteed to continue and every student in the future has the opportunity to join the best society on campus.
