Hey! I am Amelia. I am a second year Classics student. I should be welfare sec because I enjoy looking after the welfare of people. I am approachable and a friendly face.

Hi, I'm Aimée and I'm a second year studying Classical Civilisation. I would love to be Welfare officer for Classics because I have been an active member of the society for the last two years and love the community we have created within it, so would love to help Classics soc have another great year. I'm at many classics events, especially classics tea where you'll find me with a cup of tea in hand and if elected would continue the tradition of welfare officer being held by an Aimée!

I have a good idea of how the society runs and have experience being on committee this academic year in the Scout and Guide society so would use what I've learnt as a member of classics committee.

I'm a caring, approachable person who wants to make sure the society is accessible and inclusive as possible so all members have the best time possible. I've found that the events and trips run by the society have been the most amazing way to make close friends with like-minded people so want to help our existing members and new cohort have that experience too!

If elected I would like to host some takeovers of our social media and work alongside the social secretary, as well as fostering the society's relationship with the classics course reps, to promote wellbeing and accessibility contacts and events within the university. I would also be a good team player and help pick up any extra jobs within the society and support other committee members in their roles.
