Hi, I’m Anja Lund, a Classical Civilisation student in second year. This year I have loved being the treasurer for the Classics Society and I would like to continue being a part of the committee next year, my final year. Having already been on the committee, I know how a society needs to be run and have experience in doing so efficiently. I have kept a spreadsheet for this Classics Soc’s accounts this year, and it has always been up to date. If I am elected treasurer, it would continue to be accurate and useful, and I would be able to improve it based on my experience over the last year. I am very organised, meaning that all forms, reports, and grants will be completed on time. I will work as hard as I can to apply for grants from the union in order to make Classics soc events cheaper and more accessible. I have had the best time on both the trip to Rome in first year, and the trip to Athens in second year, and so I would like to work hard at raising money for the society to go on another trip and continue to host fun events.
