Race Captain

Race training and competitions; it’s the race captains job to keep up to date with entries and booking passes. You have to build your team and make sure they are well trained, whilst keeping the newbies involved and developing their interest too. You don’t need to be the best racer in the club to do this job, you just have to be competitive and passionate!

Between you and the freestyle captain, you have to organise the booking of transport for the weekly trips and decide how many passes to book ahead of time.

At competitions, you have to keep on top of the schedule so that you can let competitors and spectators know where they need to be and when.

The Race Captain gets to see the fruits of their labour at competitions, and shares in the glory of team successes.
