What I want to do:
- Produce monthly edits featuring footage from cas, socials and any competitions
- Take lots of photos at events and get them out as quick as possible
- Help ensure that ladies night is well promoted to get more girls involved in the weekly sessions
- Create sick graphics to help promote all the cas trips and the socials throughout the year
- focus on not just showing off the best skiers in the edits and filming the more novice members of the society to represent the range of skier level in snowriders, while encouraging more beginners to join the society
- Put lots of effort into showing the club off on instagram particularly with the story, to help reach the new freshers who won’t use facebook as much as some of the boomers still rocking around here
- Produce gnarly edits from the trips that are both cinematic and light hearted to show off how good we are at skiing while reminding everyone else how much more fun we have than them
All in all if I get elected I will strive to give everything I have back to this society and I’ll make sure that I’m as welcoming and kind to the freshers next year as this years comittee were to me this year :) xx

Ello everyone,

Snowriders has been a massive part of my second year at uni and every second has been gorge. I'd love to get more involved this year and give back to the society that I've had so much fun with!

I'm running for media because I love getting creative; whether that's making videos, taking pictures, drawing or illustrating. I also have experience running the media accounts for a zine :)

I'd love to bring a combination of edit styles to this role and build up a mix of more grungey, skate-style videos, as well as the more sleek and profesh ones that you can show your mum. I hope to make one or so mini-edits a week and, of course, create the longer, smooth ones for trips and big events! This is where the inordinate amount of time I have spent watching shredits rather than doing my degree should come in clutch, lol.

I also think it would be great to work closely with the merch sec to create new sticker graphics in a whole range of fun, swanky, and illustrative styles, and expand the handout merch beyond the club's highly steezy garms.

With the weekly video and regular papping I plan to create a steady stream of content that will reassure you all your slopestyle swag is getting put to the record :)

Once again - I cannot stress how great I think Snowriders is for meeting new people and learning/ trying new things. It would be great to be part of the committee that hails in a new band of merry LS freshers next September and put my lil heart and soul into facilitating all the amazing media (!!), events, opportunities, relationships and more that this society produces :))
