As a Natural Sciences student with a focus on maths I have a familiarity with numbers and a keen interest in them. As Treasurer, I will bring that enthusiasm to the table in making sure backstage money is appropriately spent on improving the society, weighing up the pros and cons of big investments for the betterment of our members’ industry skills. My degree has also taught me the invaluable skill of juggling many different things at once as I have to stretch my time between different disciplines of science. This skill will allow me to balance all the different Backstage accounts whilst dealing with multiple invoices and communicating with appropriate departments in LUU.

I’ve loved being on committee this year and feel ready for the next step up to an executive member with a solid understanding of how the team works and what is expected of me as treasurer. I also love spreadsheets so this role is the logical step up for me.
