The specific roles and responsibilities of the Secretary include:

• Maintaining membership records containing at least the name, contact email, student number (if applicable) and relevant medical information of all the society’s members.
• Maintaining a written record of all meetings, including Committee Meetings, AGMs and EGMs.
• Maintaining an up-to-date copy of the society constitution.
• Ensuring members are informed of their right to vote in accordance with their membership status.
• Ensuring the email account is checked regularly and emails are replied to where necessary with support from the Captain.
