I am excited to stand as a candidate for the position of Secretary of this society. I am a dedicated and organised individual with a genuine passion for sport and teamwork, and think I can contribute positively to the smooth running and continued growth of the society.
As Secretary, I understand that the role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability. I am confident in my ability to manage administrative responsibilities such as organizing meetings, keeping accurate records, and ensuring that all members are well-informed about fixtures, training sessions, and events. I am also comfortable working with digital tools to streamline communication and keep information easily accessible.
I am very focused on communication, making sure I will ensure that all updates are shared clearly and on time, and that members feel included and engaged. I also aim to support the committee in planning successful events and fixtures by coordinating schedules efficiently and handling logistics effectively. I value teamwork and collaboration through working closely with each committee member to ensure that the society runs smoothly and achieves its goals. I am approachable, and always open to new ideas from members to improve the efficiency of the society etc. I would love to take on this role and contribute to the running of this amazing society.
