Hi everyone!

I would love to become Nutritank’s clinical rep because I have a particular interest in nutrition, fitness and lifestyle medicine, and having the opportunity to explore and promote these topics, and teach others is something that really excites me. Healthy living is so important in allowing us to improve both our physical and mental health, and I feel it is of the utmost of importance to educate people on these factors, especially in current times where modifiable risk factors play such a huge role in the causation of disease.

For the past two years, I have acted as first and second year rep on the MSRC committee (the latter of which involves organising and distributing the School of Medicine merch). This demonstrates my past experience with getting involved in positions of responsibility, and shows that I have good teamwork, organisation and leadership skills. I have also previously volunteered with the Restart a Heart society where we had to teach members of the public and staff/students how to perform CPR, and I would love to continue to develop my teaching skills that I have begun to learn here by becoming a member of this committee.
