With previous experience in delivering timely and effective communication, managing multiple stakeholders and having an overarching organisational ability, I am confident that the aforementioned qualities will be extremely applicable in this secretarial role. I am extremely aligned and personally invested with the goals and objective of the 93% Club, with the representation and inclusion of state-educated students critical as ever. With previous experience in large international companies, as well as voluntary work including forming part of the Steering group for the University of Leeds Plus Programme Steering group and voluntary advisory work at the Citizens advice Bureau, the opportunity to continue this work and utilise previous experience, is one I would be extremely enthusiastic to undertake.

Hi everyone! I’m Yahye and I’ll be going into my final year studying Law. As a passionate advocate in social mobility, I’d be extremely happy to assist the society by working as a Secretary, ensuring that the processes within the society operate seamlessly to the benefit of society members. Also, I intend to regularly communicate events and opportunities to members across an array of sectors to ensure that members remain fully informed.
