Hi,
My name is Kelvin Akhigbe, and I'm an incoming second-year law student. I believe that I will be very impactful as Vice-President of the 93% club. I have worked with numerous social mobility charities (The Black Excellence Network, Zerogravity, The Sutton Trust, and Upreach). I hope that you will vote for me, and please read my poster to know why I want this role and also why social mobility is important to me as a student. Additionally, as the current Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Secretary of the law society, it is a testament to my desire to create diversity but also promote those from disadvantaged backgrounds like myself to achieve greater opportunities.

Hey! My name is Heathcliff and I’m a final-year law student at the University of Leeds. For the past two years, I have been a dedicated member of the 93% Club committee, and now, I seek the opportunity to continue this meaningful journey as your Vice President for my final year.

Throughout my time with the 93% Club, I have attended numerous events hosted by the 93% Foundation, such as the Social Mobility Factory, London, and Level Up, Manchester, all with the aim of uplifting the less privileged and creating a level playing field for everyone. Moreover, I take immense pride in having played a crucial role in organising several impactful events, including our Lady Hale event, where we secured over 100 attendees! 🚀

My commitment to social mobility extends beyond the confines of the 93% Club. As an UpReach ambassador, I advocate social mobility and help students access new opportunities, working towards a brighter future for all. Additionally, I serve as a mentor at IntoUniversity, an organisation dedicated to empowering underprivileged students, enabling them to embark on promising career paths and pursue higher education. 🤩

I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of these organisations, which is why I am unwavering in my resolve to ensure that others can benefit from the same opportunities. My journey thus far has not only enriched my life but has instilled in me an unshakable belief in the potential of every individual to rise above their circumstances. 🫶

Beyond building an impressive network of peers from various clubs, my confidence and charisma have facilitated meaningful connections with countless like-minded individuals. These connections are invaluable in amplifying the impact of our shared mission, and I am eager to nurture them further in the role of Vice President. 🤝

Considering my extensive dedication to the 93% Club and my embodiment of its core values, I believe that the position of Vice President is a natural fit for me.
