Dear Fellow Members of LUUTIS,

My name is Bassam, and I am a penultimate year BSc Economics and Finance student.

My journey at university over the past 2 years has undoubtedly been very rewarding, being involved in numerous societies has been incredibly enriching for me, but LUUTIS has consistently stood out as a particularly valuable experience, but most importantly, now it's time to give back even a better experience for the other students.

As your next Secretary, I will strive to perform my best and manage all the society's matters professionally. I will use my skills and network so that members will have their best experience as members of LUUTIS. So far, I've had the privilege of being an ambassador in various capacities. These roles have been about more than just representing organizations; they've been about connecting with people. They've taught me the value of communication, leadership, and above all, integrity. As your potential secretary, I promise to make sure everyone's voice is not only heard but truly valued, and communicated with the university.

Dear members,

My name is Prachi, a penultimate year (going into my final) Economics and Finance here at the University of Leeds and I am running for LUUTIS Secretary 24/25.

Being part of the society for the past two years and serving as the DEI Sec this year allowed me to meet so many of you and learn so much. LUUTIS undoubtedly has been an indispensable part of my university journey and has not only provided me with an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals but also build a strong support network.

As a woman in the industry, I believe representation starts from university and I aim to cultivate that in my capacity as an SEO London campus ambassador and active part of WSA and other external organisations. As the society secretary, I aim to build strong relationships with firms and ensure effective communication within the society. I seek to support the committee and members to expand their network and skillset and make the most of their time here with LUUTIS.

I hope you will consider me for the position and provide me with an opportunity to continue my participation and contribution to LUUTIS through my network and experiences - as the society’s next Secretary!
