Dear LUUTIS members,

I’m Dom, the current Treasurer of LUUTIS and a 2nd year Accounting & Finance student, and I’m running for LUUTIS President for 2024/25.


I recognise that what members want most from LUUTIS is help landing a career in high finance. I aim to address this through these initiatives:
• At least 1 in-person LUUTIS careers fair with recruiters from top firms
• Guest speakers working in senior management and recruitment at top firms
• In-person insight days and office visits around the UK, subsidised by sponsors
• CV, cover letter and interview workshops
• 1-to-1 employability consulting sessions


Some first-year members may know me as one of the co-founders of Career Catalysts, an initiative that helped many students land spring internships at top firms through employability training and support. Using this as proof of concept, I aim to integrate Career Catalysts into LUUTIS to serve members in all years, running it continually throughout 2024/25, providing ongoing support to members striving for a top career in high finance.


For the underrepresented members (including female, BAME, disabled, and all other disadvantaged students), I will work to deepen our relationships with GAIN (Girls Are Investors) and SEO London to provide you with more opportunities to break into high finance. In the past, these opportunities have included insight days, spring/summer internships, graduate roles, webinars and networking events.
