As Performance Secretary, you will be responsible for organising SalsaSoc’s performance group(s) and their performances, including by:
- Identifying performance opportunities.
- Recruiting members for the Performance Group(s).
- Finding and hiring choreographers/instructors.
- Organising rehearsals.
- Booking rehearsal space.
- Arranging costumes.
You will be taking the initiative in decisions about Performance Groups, but most final decisions (especially related to recruiting dancers and hiring choreographers/instructors) will have to be approved by the Committee.
