Hi! My name is Millie, and I’m running as your Devs Social Sec!

To be honest I’d genuinely never played football before joining devs, and I really wasn’t that comfortable & felt super out of my depth. BUT WAIT.
This is not a sob story - this is the tale of a girl, who loves the pub, and, by the sway of a desperado & the promise of a post-training pint actually kept coming to training every week.

Did I latch onto a new group of friends and just follow them around? Yeah!
Are we now genuinely really good mates & now I’m now dead set on doing the same for everyone else in devs? Yeah !
Can I actually now competently play football, watch it regularly & feel quite proud of myself for doing so? Mostly !

Anyway I’ll get to the point- I’ve got a big house, big smile & a proper good attitude.

I want devs to be a real community this year - no more cliques, no more people on their own, and I understand how intimidating it can be & I’m gonna change that!

Rosie & Lizzie did a cracking job this year too - & with Bradley, who was the first one to actually get me consistently playing & is our beloved designated driver, wisdom giver & a bloody lovely mate, we’re going to make devs a social, empowered & confident team!
