Hello!!
I'm Kirsten, a 2nd-year Radiography student from the Isle of Man, and I would love to be Radsoc's treasurer for this upcoming academic year.

In the past, I never had the chance to be fully involved with Radsoc, which is why I am so eager to get involved directly in my final year!

I have had masses of experience working as part of a team with my involvement in other cultural societies in the last year, so I know how a committee should run and what works to effectively function as a team. I am also a creatively inclined and organised person, which I believe are beneficial skills for this role.

I am excited to oversee Radsoc's finances and make organised and well-thought-out decisions with the society's best interest in mind, ensuring to keep an up-to-date record of all income and expenditures throughout the year.

Alongside wanting to maintain our finances, I want to be able to excite the incoming students about this degree through exciting events that display both educational and social aspects. This is what I believe will make Radsoc thrive and create a supportive and welcoming community.

I'm applying for the Treasurer role because I genuinely want to contribute to the Radiography Society in a meaningful way, not just as a member, but as someone actively helping it grow and thrive. Through my studies and clinical placements, I've developed a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Whether it's ensuring accuracy in a clinical environment or managing my own time across placement and university commitments, I've learnt that getting the details right really matters, and I'd bring that same care to managing the society's finances. I'm confident in keeping clear, accurate records of income and expenditure, planning budgets thoughtfully, and making sure money is spent in a way that genuinely benefits members. I'd also love to help explore fundraising ideas and support the committee in organising events that are both enjoyable and financially sustainable. Radiography has shaped how I work with people too. Placement has taught me the value of trust, clear communication, and being someone others can rely on qualities I think are just as important in a committee role as they are on the wards. I'd be really proud to support the society in this way and help make it a positive space for every radiography student.

Hello, I am Catrin and I am a second year radiography student and am excited to put myself forward for the role of treasurer. I am passionate about radiography and I would like to be part of organising events and offering opportunities for students to develop professionally. I would be suitable for the role as I have experience in managing money and would budget effectively. I will maximise the budget to facilitate as many opportunities as possible for the students to engage in.

I'm Evana, a first year Radiography student, and I am running for the role of Treasurer. If elected, I will ensure our finances remain organised and accountable, allowing the society to invest in the best possible opportunities for our members. I will work alongside the committee and our members to keep everything running smoothly and support all society activities. I hope we can plan more study days and collaborate with other societies to organise social events. I understand that placements can make it difficult for healthcare students to attend, so we can tailor events to fit placement timetables and make them as accessible as possible.
