I have really enjoyed my time volunteering on the ward and meeting everyone involved with Bedside Buddies. As such, I have wanted the opportunity to become more involved in the society. I believe becoming treasurer is the best way for me to do this as the position aligns closest with skills I have gained through my economics degree as well as my organisational and teamwork skills. If elected, I promise to work hard to ensure that Bedside Buddies can be a society that not only supports hospitalised children, but also gives members opportunities to socialise and have fun.
