Volunteering this year has made me appreciate how much a variety of activities and toys impacts children’s experiences. I aim to raise money through a range of fundraising events to fund more of these so there’s more options.
I’ve put on multiple fundraising events before, including planning, advertising and running a coffee morning for Mind in April, raising £381. I’ve also run cake sales and a school prize-giving event as part of a team so will bring skills I’ve gained from those into this role to organise events, sponsored challenges and cake sales.
