As secretary - better known as Head of Digital - you’ll be responsible for all things online with Lippy. You’ll be responsible for uploading the edited articles onto our website which get emailed to you by the subeditors, and work with the head of design to adjust how the website looks when launching new print editions (it’s easy, don’t worry!). You’ll have influence within the print editions regardless of the role name, and can chip in helping here where necessary. You can also work closely with the head of marketing to decide how to operate the social media. The secretary role entails a little paperwork at the beginning of the year, although the union provide clear pointers on how to do this correctly.
