Heyyy,

The name is Imaan ( or if you would prefer, you may call me by my nickname Immy). I have been attending Cosy Games from September, since the beginning of my journey alongside this society, I have slowly started to fall in love with the comforting atmosphere. I have competed in some very memorable games and had some exciting nights out. Upon getting to know all of you, I have realised that Cosy Games has become a safe space for me to express myself. I believe that I am also an approachable member which would make me more than just fit for the role of secretary.

I will be here to support each and every one of you alongside with future committee members. I will ensure that everything runs smoothly enough for you to feel groovy and at home when you attend our sessions, whether they’re in person or online. I am very aware of the pesky bots that always tend to attack our discord servers, my IT skills will be quick and efficient about getting rid of those inconveniences. I’ll ensure fun events and collaborations with societies that you may be interested in!! Vote for me to ensure another cosy year of gaming!

I am Chloe and currently a second-year student aiming to be the society’s secretary. Even though I only started coming to the cosy games society this year, I found myself enjoying the warm atmosphere and would love nothing more than to contribute to the inviting space. As an English Literature and Creative Writing student, I am confident that my writing skills will be beneficial to jotting down meeting notes to ensure all future plans run smoothly. Furthermore, I am a very meticulous planner and perfectionist so I can promise that all admin work will be well organized, giving the members of the society a joyful and stress-free experience!

Playing games has always been my favourite pastime, especially on stressful days when I have essay deadlines to deal with. I have played so many cosy games which led me to the bad habit of spending too much on them (which is why I am not running for treasurer lol) I hope that this position could help me connect more with the members who share this passion for video/ board games so I can make the society even more enjoyable. If I am elected for secretary, I guarantee that I will give it my all and take everyone’s opinion into account, make them heard in the meetings so that the society can provide you the best experience!

Hey guys, I'm Yaseen and I'm running for secretary. I've been an active member for over a year, and have served this year as secretary already. Cosy games is my favourite society and I have already spent my time in committee making it a more welcoming and inclusive place. I firmly believe that really any game can be cosy with the right attitude, and have used this mindset to promote the society into a larger one that has been taken more seriously.

What I will deliver:

I've bought board and video games for this society and certainly will continue doing so in order to expand. I've also accomplished multiple collabs with other societies, and am eager to see what others I can reach out to. Pixel bar events have also doubled due to my request. For next year, I want to start booking a larger amount of booths, as I see the demand for it. The art in my poster is mine, and I want to use my art to help promote the society further, such as with the stickers I made this year for the fair.

I have a strong desire to see this society grow, and have set plans to achieve these ambitions. For the reasons listed above, I strongly suggest you to vote for me.
