In short, you will be doing as the name says. You will connect students with opportunities, jobs, employers, events and ect, via many channels you can use, such as this society's links.

The more long:

It is your job to communicate with industry – Engineering companies. Organising site visits and industrial talks and events (teaming up with the social sec). If you go to Prof Basheer you should get some funding from the School for such events as they want more of them!

So, email companies, communicate, and see if a potential partnership is on the table. You could also ask for sponsorship for specific events. Remember to keep up contact and invite them to any event they might sponsor. Sponsorship email templates and contracts can be found in the Dropbox.

It’s usually pretty hard to get sponsorship, but it is relatively easy to team up and do an industrial event!
