I’m Emma, and I’m running for Female President!

My aim is to take my knowledge and experiences from being on committee for the last two years and work together with the Male President to ensure our club goes from strength to strength in 24/25 season. Alongside the many responsibilities of being president, there are some aspects of the club that I would really like to maintain/improve:

1. Community – reinforcing that we are one club, providing opportunities for friendships to form across teams as well as within teams, as well as creating a safe and inclusive space for all of our members.

2. Recruitment – ensuring our recruitment process is as successful as ever, and looking at ways to improve player retention across the year and between years, to grow the club and improve commitment.

3. Organisation – making certain that things are planned in advance and clearly communicated to members, whether regarding training, socials, tournaments or fixtures.

4. Partnerships – exploring new opportunities to create partnerships, including with other societies, sponsors, and charities, to really expand on what our society can achieve.

Having been a part of korfball for 3 years now, it has become a massive part of my life (as the pure amount of korf related bereals shows), so in my final year I’d love to be your female president.
