Indian society has played a massive part in my first year at UoL . Through this society, I have managed to meet some amazing people and I would love to be a part of the committee for the following year.

As part of my school prefect team, I was involved-in setting up many successful charity events, one of which raised over 700 pounds for the well-known foundation, Samaritans. These experiences developed my marketing and promotional skills,as I had to figure out new ways to attract students to get involved with the fund-raising activities.

I aim to make a difference in this society and hopefully prove myself worthy of the role. Most importantly, I would Like to continue the amazing work done by my seniors.

I desire to let my warm, hard-working and enthusiastic self be expressed when completing the assigned duties and making real the desire to help others.

Hello, My Name is Larissaa Gupta and I am a first-year law student. I am running to be your next promotions secretary. I am a cheerful, fun, outgoing, and social person, passionate about digital art. You can always find me in the common ground using Procreate and Canva making e-invites, digital planners, and everything the digital customization offers ;)

As a Promotions Representative, I would like to be a part of the LEEDS INDIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION. For me, I would take pride in being a representative of a club that promotes the culture of my homeland, India, in a distant land and in organising events for the national and international students to stay connected and feel the unity of the diverse Indian Culture.
Holding the experience of being a fresher's representative and understanding the nitty gritties of the functioning of ISA, I firmly believe that I would best represent this position. I want to be the promotion representative because promotion is the key to spreading awareness about any event. Having related experience from my prior work, such as organising and promoting social events, MUNs, and cultural fairs gives me confidence that I will be able to do justice to this position. This experience would also facilitate me with the knowledge required to fulfil the requirements and to meet the expectations desired by this post.
This position will help me grow more in extending my relations with a multitude of people and, at the same time, make it easier for me to expand my horizon in the domain of marketing, cultural intelligence, and social networking. I will aim to include a broader range of events from India's major and minor communities. I promise there will be something for everyone, and that way of nostalgia from childhood festivities will surely take you on a trip down memory lane.
