Hello ladies,
Having been on committee this year, I’d like the opportunity to continue to contribute to the club going into my final year.
I would like to take on the responsibility of being 1st team captain; having watched my good friends, Liv and Ell, take on the role (and be successful) I have a good understanding of what it entails. After a successful season this year with lots of new players coming in I am keen to keep this good run of form going into the new year and battle for the league title. I am confident, vocal on the pitch and organised, all of which are vital qualities as a captain. I have high hopes for the 1s and am willing to put in the time to ensure I lead the team to victory. The role is extremely demanding but I can assure you I am ready and raring to rise to the challenge!

What I would like to achieve as captain:
* Competitive finish in the league - with the aim of making it to the play offs.
* Successful cup run - a repeat of this year would be wonderful; Aberdeen😍
* Good group cohesion - team bonding sessions outside of football will ensure a positive environment in which players are comfortable.

I will aim to:
* Communicate well with the captains to allow for movement and progression through teams.
* Ensure we have a good team morale and are focused in training as well as on game days.
* Work closely with *hopefully* a new coach as well as Grimes to get a decent training slot, and have sessions which are effective leading to improvements as a team on the pitch - if we happen to be without a coach again I would try and get session plans from Grimes which I can then lead, or come up with my own sessions.
* Get the team in the shape of their life, starting with pre season in mid-late August and continued S&C throughout the year.
* Lead by example - over the past 3 years at uni, I have without question always put LUUWAFC first you can actually count on one hand the number of times I have missed training or a match in these 3 years. I will be encouraging others to show the same dedication.

There are big boots to fill, like I don’t think my little feet will fit perfectly into Liv’s size ¡7! boots but I would be honoured if you crazy bunch decide to put your faith in me, I promise you won’t be disappointed:)
