I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the position of Treasurer for the Leeds Tamil Society. With great honor, I reflect on my experience serving as your Treasurer last year, where I had the privilege of overseeing our financial affairs and organizing a successful ball.

During my tenure, I demonstrated a steadfast commitment to financial transparency, accountability, and efficiency. I meticulously managed the society's finances, ensuring that every rupee was allocated wisely and responsibly. Through careful budgeting and strategic planning, I was able to optimize our resources, enabling us to host events, workshops, and cultural celebrations that enriched our community.

One of the highlights of my term was the organization of our annual ball. With meticulous attention to detail and effective budget management, I collaborated with fellow committee members to create an unforgettable evening that brought our members together in celebration of our vibrant culture. From securing the venue to managing ticket sales and coordinating entertainment, I ensured that every aspect of the event was executed flawlessly, resulting in an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees.
