Hey,
My name is Kajitha and I am nominating myself to do socials. I was marketing rep last year and I would love to put myself forward to be social media and marketing secretary. With experience of working on committee last year, I loved taking part in all of the events and help organising it and planning it and it would be amazing to continue this next year too.
I am committed to developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy in close coordination with the society's executive committee. I will curate compelling content that reflects our society's mission and objectives across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and TikTok. Monitoring interactions and promptly engaging with members and stakeholders will be a priority, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive online community.
I want to give our society a wider outreach across the university and also amongst other societies to build our existing committee :)

My name is Abarna and I am currently a 2nd year doing Cardiac Physiology.
Taking the opportunity to run for the role of the social media manager of the Tamil society 2024/25 is one I am looking forward to. I intend to be a proactive committee member, promoting our culture, society and events that will be held in the future across all platforms. Creating interactive social media stories and posts is one of my aims as I apply for this role, to ensure that all members are connected and updated on the new events that will take place and are able to participate in them. I am excited to work with the other committee members to provide a variety of events to allow the Tamil students to connect with each other and have fun. Looking forward to meeting you all next year!
