Hi Everyone!
My name is Sharvika Sivapalan, a second year Dental student at Leeds.
I am excited to express my interest in the position of Activities Officer for our vibrant community. In recent times, I’ve been deeply involved in helping organise and participated in the Leeds Tamil Society dance at our first ever Mallipoo ball, a huge milestone! I am deeply committed to elevating our dance and cultural events to great heights, reaching a wider audience and showcasing the richness of our cultural heritage.
I’m inspired to expand our horizons and delve into a broader spectrum of cultural activities and sports such as t-soc football and girls netball. As an activities officer, I’ll bring a diverse skill set essential for enriching the Leeds Tamil society experience.
Furthermore, Effective communication is one of my major skills, keeping everyone informed and engaged. With a commitment to excellence, I aim to deliver memorable experiences that resonate with our community, assisting in the society’s growth and impact.
