Hi members of Leeds Marrow AGM Society,

My name is Oluwanifemi Agbede, you can call me Nifemi btw! I am a second-year Biomedical science student (Int. student for Nigeria!), honoured to post my candidacy as your Volunteer Coordinator. I have a deep-rooted passion for our community and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and vibrant society. I am eager to contribute to Leeds Marrow AGM’s continued success and growth.

From my poster above, I have volunteered at donor recruitment events at the University of Leeds and enjoyed the experience of recruiting potential donors from the public because isn’t every day, a wonderful day to save lives! I also have experience working as the university’s student ambassador on open days ensuring I present myself as a strong and diligent representative for the university or any committee I am honoured to work with.

I will work closely with other committee members to ensure during these events, the recruitment process standards are upheld by every volunteer. I understand the importance of effective coordination and communication within our committee to ensure that our events and initiatives are accomplished. I will strive to contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions to enhance the impact of our society.
