Hello Everyone,
My name is Apeksha Saraf and I am a current second-year Law student.
I am honoured to present my candidacy for the position of Vice President of the National Hindu Student’s Forum (NHSF). As the current Co-Events Representative at NHSF, I have had the privilege of playing an active role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive Hindu community on campus. My experience in this role has equipped me with the skills and vision necessary to excel as your Vice President.

During my tenure as Co-Events Representative, I have been deeply involved in brainstorming and executing a variety of events that have significantly contributed to the enrichment of our cultural and spiritual life. I have successfully coordinated with university authorities and external vendors to secure venues and hire DJs, ensuring our events are both memorable and professionally organized. One of my proudest achievements was helping to coordinate the Leeds Garba and Mehfil, the highly anticipated annual NHSF Leeds x NHSF York Hindu Ball. These events not only celebrated our rich traditions but also strengthened the bonds within our community.

My role has taught me the importance of meticulous planning, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork. I have developed strong relationships with both university officials and external partners, which will be invaluable in my role as Vice President. My ability to bring people together, coupled with my passion for our cultural heritage, will enable me to lead our forum with dedication and innovation.

If elected as Vice President, I will strive to enhance the NHSF experience for all members by introducing new initiatives that promote cultural awareness, spiritual growth, and community service. I am committed to ensuring that our events are inclusive, engaging, and reflective of the diverse backgrounds within our Hindu community. Additionally, I will work tirelessly to support our President and the entire executive team in achieving our shared goals.

I believe that my experience, enthusiasm, and commitment make me a strong candidate for Vice President. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of NHSF and to serve our vibrant community with dedication and passion.
