As Life Drawing secretary (assistant general secretary) you will work with the Secretary to book models and run a weekly life drawing with a variety of themes, props and a diverse range of models.

The Life Drawing Secretary also posts the tickets for the event. During the weekly session they will: set up the room (tables, chairs, lights, and make sure there is appropriate provision of materials), manage the lighting, check member tickets at the door and call out the timing for poses.

You should also communicate with the model on site, make sure they are comfortable and know what the plan for the evening is. In the case that the Social Media Secretary is unable to attend the life drawing then the LD secretary should take photos for a post to be made.

This position sometimes involves some admin work (emails) in order to assist the secretary. Overall, this is a more practical creative position with the expectation that you will be consistently available to handle weekly life drawing.
