Welfare and charity secs main goal is to make sure everyone in the society has someone to rely on. It does not have to be their personal responsibility, however they must provide places where people can find support and not feel judged.
Welfare helps create an inclusive and safe space within the society to allow our members to feel supported and listened to.
The charity side of the role ensures that the society participates in different fundraising events and align the members values with our own.
