As a vital member of the M2 Volleyball team, my role extends beyond the court. With an eye for detail and a passion for precision, I, Irfan "Charlie" Hilmi, pledge to elevate our society's financial strategy to championship levels.

My Commitment
My approach as your Treasurer will blend my sports acumen with my academic insights, synthesizing the strategic plays of a setter with the analytical rigour of global political economy studies.

Credentials and Experience
* Numerical Proficiency: Not only have I been entrusted with the analytical tasks of completing an economics module for peers, but my leisure time often involves the joy of spreadsheets – a testament to my love for numbers.
* Economic Savvy: Despite majoring in International Relations, my academic journey intertwines with economics and finance, equipping me with a macro-level understanding of monetary dynamics, critical for managing our society's funds.
* Organizational Prowess: My knack for systematization is reflected in both my personal and academic life, where I manage time and resources efficiently, prioritizing responsibilities without fail.
* Qualifications: Interned at an equity crowdfunding firm that dealt with a large sum of funds from investors, Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC), Bloomberg Environmental Social Governance (ESG), previous treasurer at the Trading and Investment Society in Essex

* Transparent Financial Stewardship: Ensure that every penny is accounted for with utmost transparency. Regular, detailed financial statements will be standard practice, not an exception.

* Cost-Effective Resource Allocation: Exercise fiscal responsibility by optimizing our budget for training, equipment, and events, guaranteeing the best returns on investment for our members.
* Solidarity with Committee Goals: Work in concert with the committee to support financial decisions that reflect our collective vision and mission, underpinning every action with sound financial reasoning.

Hi! My name is Aruuke, I’m a first-year Accounting and Finance student from Kyrgyzstan and I currently play in women’s Dev.

Why vote for me?
I'm good with spreadsheets and numbers (I enjoy technical stuff) and was a treasurer before in high school STUCO.
I've made many financial statements before as an Accounting student (got 48/50 on exam).
I'm very organised, committed and passionate in my work & prioritise volleyball over everything. Really nice and kind too ;)

What will I do as the treasurer?
I want to ensure the most accurate & sustainable budget management (save more for future) and seek more fundraising opportunities (for more games, equipment, events).
I will allocate the budget effectively to support society’s activities and work with the committee to serve members’ interests.
I will also do my best to proactively implement your ideas & suggestions into reality, and of course to create the smoothest possible experience for everyone.
