hii guys! I'm chloe, the current secretary, running to be your vice president next year! jake (current kit secretary, running for president) and I are running together, and we would really appreciate it if you could look at our poster before you vote. It includes our goals, information about us, and why you should vote for us. we hope to make the club bigger and better as we move into the new year and are counting on your vote to make this happen. thank you in advance!

Who am I?

I’m Pablo, a first-year Liberal Arts student keen to help run the society next year! Volleyball has become so much more than just a sport after joining this society - it’s new experiences, community, and even adventure with some of the socials.

What makes me different?
I have a wealth of experience in leadership roles
- CCF - Being the leader of a section taught me rigour and discipline to a level rarely found elsewhere
- Lifeguard - I have been professionally trained in first aid 4 times and constantly train to keep level-headed in the most difficult of situations as I am responsible
- Liberal Arts course rep - I am tasked with communicating between peers and the university to try to enact meaningful change

but most importantly, it is important to know when not to take yourself too seriously!
The right balance of work and play is what the vice-president is there to achieve.

How I view the role of vice-president

- The vice-president should not someone who stands out or overshadows others, but someone who produces results, someone who you can always depend on to help you without judgement or dismissal
- They have to be dependable - someone the President, or anyone else for that matter, can fall back on whenever they are overwhelmed. For similar reasons, adaptability is key: The VP should be able to help out to a considerable extent in any field.
- I believe that with my support the committee next year can continue the incredible work we’ve seen this year and will become even more effective in managing this rapidly growing society.
