Manifestos:
1. Undertake more of a support role; instead of adding more event ideas I will emphasise quality over quantity and making sure ideas are followed through
2. Support members who feel isolated by holding smaller casual events catered to members hobbies eg. Parent events
3. Get the Malaysian community to explore other cultures by collaborating with other societies

Hiyaa! I'm Isma, a first year Chemical Engineering atudent. I'm excited to run for the position of Vice President in the LumSoc. I’m interested in this role because I enjoy working with people and being part of the process that brings ideas and events to life for the community. Over the past semester, I’ve had the opportunity to be a committee shadow, where I was able to see firsthand how the committee works behind the scenes to organise events and support the society. Being able to contribute to the society and help make it a welcoming space for everyone is something that really motivates me to apply for this role. With better coordination within the committee, thoughtful event planning, and more collaborations with other societies, I believe we can make our events even more engaging and memorable.
