The Events Secretary supports the committee in planning, organising, and delivering society events throughout the year. This role is all about creating engaging, well‑run activities that bring members together and showcase what the society has to offer.
Ideally, someone who has held a position on the Committee previously.
Responsibilities include:
- Booking suitable venues for society events.
- Coordinating attendee management, sign‑ups, and on‑the‑day support.
- Helping create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere at all events.
- Working closely with the committee to plan event themes, schedules, and requirements
- Ensuring events align with LUU guidelines and society goals
