Hi everyone, I’m Amelia and am currently a first-year media and communications student.
This year, I have loved my time on the freestyle dance society and being a part of the contemporary and jazz competition teams, and cannot wait for next year!

Being part of committee next year will give me the opportunity to showcase my love and enjoyment for the society and also the ability to make it even bigger and better than it is already :) I love helping and chatting to new people and that’s why I know I would be a perfect fit into the role if given the chance.

I am mostly found glued to my phone, so being PR sec would allow me to demonstrate my passion for social media in a positive way, promoting the society and dealing with any issues which arise. This role will also be great to sit alongside my degree as I will be able to put into practice things that I am learning, and it will also be great experience for my future career.

My friends know me as being a perfectionist and I believe that I have great time management and organisation skills, which along with more, are vital for this role. These skills will allow me to make creative, informative posts about upcoming classes, events, competitions and so much more! I would love the opportunity to experience the behind the scenes of the society and hope I get the chance.
