Hey Freestylers! I’m Georgia and I’m a first year Maths student. As a fresher, Freestyle has welcomed me so much and it has been an experience like no other being on comp teams and making new friends along the way. Freestyle has made such a big impact on my university experience, furthering my love for dance, and so I would love to give back to the society and apply to be this years Freestyle secretary. Dancing since the age of 3, I show great passion and commitment for dancing, and can organise my time well so my uni assignments don’t get in the way of my society responsibilities. Seeing this year’s committee, I know how important and crucial it is to keep organised so the society runs as smoothly as possible, and would be sure to keep up to date with any emails sent my way from society members and sponsors. I’m so excited to help the other committee members organise events such as fundraisers so we can give you the best society and comp experience possible. This role would allow me to deepen my position in the society and grow my friendships with everyone involved while performing my responsibilities, such as emailing sponsors and promoting weekly classes and socials. I’m so excited for the year ahead and hope everyone has the most amazing Freestyle experience like I have :)
