Hi! I’m Liv and I’d love to be one of your social secs for next year! Even as a first year, Freestyle has already become such a huge part of my uni experience, and I was so lucky to be on the Jazz Competition team this year. I had such a fab time making so many amazing memories with new friends that I know I will treasure forever. To me, that’s what makes Freestyle so special, and why I would love to be involved in future as a committee member. I would like to be social secretary because, from experience, I know how important social events are in getting to know a range of different people from all years. I feel that since being an active member of the society this year (attending almost every social this year!), I have gained a good understanding of what the role entails, and how to organise a successful event. This is something I aim to carry into the upcoming year, alongside the input of my own ideas, in order to increase numbers at events and broadcast the society to as many new people as possible. I think I am suited to this role as I am confident, approachable, and organised. I understand the responsibility that being social sec brings, but I feel that I am up for the challenge to deliver socials that are inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

I would love to be a social sec! As I’m sure everyone in the society currently knows, I am extremely chatty and will speak to anyone. I have plenty of ideas for social themes and games that really helps everyone get to know each other - this is the most important part of socials for me and I think sober socials are a great way for solidifying these friendships. I have a real passion for events planning and it’s something I want to go into in the future so think this would be a great role for me to express that. Socials have been the highlight of my year and I really would love to make it great for everyone in the coming year!

Hi guys I am Ruby a current fresher and would love to be your social sec for next year. I started freestyle this year and the society has played a massive part in my uni social experience. I have attended near to all the socials and have loved the creativity and fun ideas from each week. I met some great friends through dance socials including Liv who is also applying for social sec. I would love to have this role so that other people can have the same and even better experiences with fun socials.

As a Bristol girl I am a big social girl and love thinking of themes and fun pres to do each week. This would be my first Year on the committee and I would love to be apart of such a special society. I love making new friends and meeting people and I believe socials are the best way to do this. I want to make everyone welcome in the society and feel as a team wether they are competing or not. Though I love a party I also believe I am strong willed, kind and capable if a member of our society is in any worry or danger at the social, club or anytime. I would love to come up with great costume themes for each social that are fun and universal for everyone to join in. Being apart of the freestyle committee would mean the world to me. I understand the role of social sec is important and I believe I am up for the challenge.
