Hi, I’m Safia, a fourth-year medical student currently intercalating in Biomedical and Healthcare Ethics. My intercalation year has deepened my interest in psychiatry, particularly through my dissertation research. I’d love to help shape an exciting year for Leeds Psych and contribute to expanding the society.
With strong organisational and creative skills, I’m eager to bring fresh ideas to the table and ensure our fundraising events engage a wide audience to increase funds for the society and some great causes. I’m keen find a range of charities and oragnisations to collaborate with to broaden our reach. I feel my experience at conferences and committee roles has strengthened my networking abilities equipping me to be a great Sponsorship and Fundraising officer!
