Dear Gryphons,
As someone who intends to play American football for the full duration of my 5 year course, I aim to leave the club in a stronger position than when I joined, a challenging but deeply motivating goal which I will dedicate time and effort to.

I have chosen to nominate myself for kit sec as I feel like my personal qualities align with the responsibilities of the role.
Through my organisational skills and proactive mindset, I will work alongside coaches to maximise the use of kit and therefore player participation.
Ensuring as many players as possible have access to kit will allow them to train effectively, demonstrate their potential and commit to the team.

I will approach the role with open communication and honesty, qualities which are vital to resolving the inevitable challenges regarding kit. While there will be significant demand for kit amongst our highly subscribed team, I will work hard to ensure that little kit is unused and players have the correct jerseys ahead of gameday.

Being the kit secretary extends beyond tasks such as assigning pads and jerseys, it requires collaboration with all members of the team to benefit player development and resolve issues with utmost efficiency.

Dear Gryphons,

As Kit Secretary, I’ll continue to build on the strong foundation Jonah has laid — staying on top of all the game day gear, making sure everyone’s kitted up properly with the best available kit, and ensuring we’ve got the right equipment ready for training.

I know this role is about way more than just handing out pads — it’s about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes so we’re always ready to perform especially as the club gets bigger.

Heading into my final year of uni, I’ve got top draw organisational skills and I’ll be able to stay on top of who has what, what needs replacing, and coordinating with the gameday sec and coaches to make sure everything’s sorted.
I’ve had near 100% attendance at training, and I’m always around and approachable — so if there’s ever an issue, you’ll know exactly who to come to and I’ll sort it for you.
