After my second year with the Gryphons and my first year on committee, I would love to continue to contribute to this team in a meaningful way and this year I will be putting myself forward for secretary.

Having had a year’s worth of experience as gameday secretary, I was able to familiarise myself with the expectations of being on committee and the high standard that this team should be run at; having had this experience, I have developed many skills such as organisation, initiative and proactive communication which will aid me in the role of secretary. In addition to this, I have played American Football at club level and higher for around 8 years now so I am familiar with the processes within a team and what is required for a team to efficiently run which I will happily assist the president with, providing ideas and support whenever necessary.

I aim to continue, along with the president, treasurer and wider committee to prove that this team is the best team on campus with the most potential for success. Along with the committee, I want to help maintain and grow the environment that makes this team special, one that supports both rookies and experienced players and I aim to get as much funding and support from the uni as possible, giving us the best possible chance to go all the way to a championship.

Although I’ve got tough competition running against another great candidate, RON, I hope I have your vote.
